Every moment is unique

December 1, 2013

Every moment is unique.

Cancer is associated with the idea of death.
Or resignation, separation between people.

This is perhaps the biggest fear –
The loss of a loved one,
a final parting.

Sometimes you have to accept

that it’s impossible to share all of your feelings,

thoughts and fears.

Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can share its joy.

We left Paris in the evening.

Christmas lights glowed in the dark,
Swinging in the wind
Against black asphalt.
Lights of vehicles made different shapes of reflections on the bus window.
Darkness surrounded us
– although it was cold and damp.

Cancer can be the biggest wake up call ever.

If you allow it.

Every moment is unique.

It is not a cliché-

nonsense in song lyrics.

Sometimes you find the feeling of leaving in a song, as

Charlotte Gainsbourg‘s

One goes, the other one stays – L’un part l’autre reste
