False Assumptions II

November 27, 2013

Respect your serious disease, you have cancer.

*********

This is a really strange false assumption.

It appears as a commandment  – you should obey your cancer.

Cancer is connected to fears and that’s why it rules.

No, cancer doesn’t rule,

Fears doesn’t rule.

I rule, and above all –

God Rules.

*******

I don’t want to feel sick and cry over my sickness.

Of course I feel sad and have my fears,

But I want to avoid them as much as possible.

Sinking in a negative mood is NOT curative.

*****

My mother came to help our family after my operation – THANK YOU MOM!

It gave me an idea to make a weekend trip with my husband.

I found cheap tickets with Air France to Paris,

and got a last minute price for a hotel stay in Latin Quarter.

Surprisingly, our journey raised a variety of questions:

How dare you travel when you are SO SICK?

Shouldn’t you stay at home when you have just been operated?

What if you get even more sick?

******

My physical condition was not an obstacle- and definitely not my mental stage.

And Paris is wonderful!

You don’t have to visit any tourist attraction to feel the pulse of the city,

enjoy the culinary experience and all Christmas decorations!
